The Winner of Eco Picture Diary Contest in Turkey Visited Kyoto

A student, Şeydanur Günaydın, became the winner at the Eco Picture Diary Contest in Turkey. She drew a picture of the earth colorful and decorated it with colorful paper flowers, hoping the earth to be pollution free. "I was so happy to hear that I won," she said. She also went to Kyoto for attending a ceremony by Panasonic and UNESCO. Children representing 33 countries attended and made presentations about their unique eco activities.

10,000 Euro from Panasonic to ALDEBARAN

ALDEBARAN is the vessel with research, broadcasting, and TV-production services about the ocean. We've been making donations over 20 years since we first donated our laptop computer. We, this time, support its "Sailing Labs 2013" project, with 10,000 euro, which invites a group of 36 school children for a day trip giving a chance to learn about the water environment with a scientist.
