Qualifying

The Qualifying & Speed trials of the World Solar Challenge 2011 which we Panasonic is supplying the solar panel & Battery for Tokai University Solar Car Team, "Tokai Challenger2".


Panasonic is supporting the Tokai University team's participation in the 2011 World Solar Challenge to be held from October 16-23, 2011. We are going to report by video continuously every week on Tokai University's race towards the finish line. Stay tuned!

On October 15 (Australia Time), the Qualifying of WSC was held at Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin. 37 Solar Cars from the world which has each own identity made their challenge for the time-trial. This video is reported by our local reporter, Scott Mellish from Panasonic Australia! Exciting!

Main race will cover 3000km starting from Darwin and finishes in Adelaide, the cars start the race at the morning on October 16.
