Panasonic Targets USD 100M in Middle East with KDK Premium Ceiling Fans

KDK Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic Ecology Systems Limited, Japan and a leading player in environmentally friendly ventilation solutions, is looking to expand in the Sultanate of Oman, as part of its thrust in the Middle East and African markets. Having crossed the milestone of 1 Million sets of Ceiling Fans sold in the Middle East, it expects to continue to lead the competition with innovative, high efficiency and desirable products. KDK targets a turnover of over USD 100 Million total Fan products with the introduction of New Premium Ceiling Fan specifically designed for the Middle East. This was announced by Mr. Hiroo Ikeda, General Manager of KDK Company Limited, at a Meeting held in Oman.
The New Product Launch held by the Electrical & Electronics Division of Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC, along with KDK Japan, was attended by over 200 guests encompassing Architects, Consultants, Contractors Dealers, and Users. Along with Mr. Hiroo Ikeda, the Meeting was graced by top officials from the parent Company in Nagoya Japan and Hong Kong - Mr. Akihiro Moribayashi, Mr. Tetsu Misyoshi and Mr. Masanori Yamamoto. Executives of MHD LLC were present to receive the guests.
KDK, synonymous with the ventilation fan industry in the Sultanate of Oman, has launched a number of new and innovative products in the Oman market. Among them is a Premium Ceiling Fan in three colour variants - a first in the Region. Said Mr. Miyoshi from KDK Japan, "The design, features and colours have been arrived at after listening to the needs of our clients in the Region. It also boasts of innovative safety and technically superior features which our customers will surely appreciate. Consultants and Specifiers will especially be happy with the slim 5-speed Regulator that now fits into a standard BS backbox, giving the installation an attractively crisp look. A gold motif design on the motor's cover is the icing on the cake!"
