Panasonic Named to Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes for Eighth Consecutive Year
Panasonic Corporation was named again this fiscal year to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI World), one of the world's renowned socially responsible investment (SRI) indexes. This is the eighth consecutive fiscal year that the company was named to DJSI World.
DJSI is a stock index created by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the US and Sustainable Asset Management AG in Switzerland, which evaluate the sustainability of companies in terms of the economy, environment, and society. Each year, about 2,500 of the world's largest company are evaluated, and only about the top 10% of these companies are named to DJSI World. This year, there were 340 companies named to the index.
